Our Mission
Our mission is to empower Master鈥檚 students in Anthropology and International Development to become thoughtful, skilled, and impactful professionals. Through a rigorous academic curriculum and hands-on research opportunities, we aim to deepen students鈥 understanding of social, cultural, political, and economic dynamics shaping contemporary global issues. The program is designed to strengthen their theoretical foundations, enhance their methodological expertise, and foster the development of advanced analytical and technical skills. Our graduates are equipped to engage critically with complex development challenges and contribute meaningfully to academic, policy, or practitioner settings across diverse cultural and institutional contexts.

Learning Outcomes
Graduates of the program will be able to:
- Demonstrate advanced knowledge of key concepts, debates, and theoretical frameworks in anthropology, with a solid grounding in related fields such as archaeology, urbanism, and international development;
- Analyze and interpret complex social phenomena across cultures and contexts using interdisciplinary approaches;
- Communicate effectively and persuasively in both written and oral forms, tailoring messages to academic, professional, and community audiences;
- Design and conduct ethnographic and field-based research, including participant observation, interviews, surveys, and participatory methods;
- Critically analyze qualitative and quantitative data, generate evidence-based insights, and produce coherent, impactful reports and presentations;
- Apply anthropological perspectives to real-world development challenges, including issues of inequality, displacement, environmental change, urbanization, and governance;
- Work collaboratively and ethically in cross-cultural and interdisciplinary teams, demonstrating cultural sensitivity, reflexivity, and a commitment to social justice.
